Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation

During their summer vacation, many young people spend their free time sleeping, surfing online or glued to their iPads and computer games. Hence, on July 15, 2012, the Tzu Chi Collegiate Association of the Tzu Chi Foundation will begin a campaign to invite young people to join the effort to protect the Earth and to post their thoughts and photos online.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Tzu Chi Collegiate Association. As from today, the members of the association (Tzu Chings) act as role models for young people; from Taiwan and 27 countries and regions around the world, they invite friends and families to protect our Mother Earth.

According to the Tzu Chi Foundation, the campaign begins on July 15 and will bring together over 3,000 Tzu Chings in Taiwan to do recycling in 32 Tzu Chi Environmental Protection and Educational Centers around Taiwan. Tzu Chings around the globe will invite 5,000 young people to join the relay of environment day and spread loving hearts around the world.

There is no registration needed. Please take your young and loving heart to a Tzu Chi recycling center. Please contact your nearest Tzu Chi branch office.
